About Bird Song Photography
Hello, and welcome! My name is Brittany Vogelsang, and I am from a small town located in southeastern Indiana, called Batesville. I am a middle school math teacher there, as well as a cheerleading coach and a golf coach. When I'm not in the classroom, or behind my camera, you can find me baking desserts or curled up on the couch, knitting. I am huge on adventure, traveling, and trying new things. I will never turn down a karaoke night with my best friends, or visiting a local winery or brewery.
I first started in photography when my little brother was in high school, and I was taking pictures of him during his basketball games. From there, my hobby slowly grew into a passion, and eventually became something I could see myself doing long-term. I am beyond thankful for all my family and friends for helping me get to where I am now. They have served as my "models" whether they wanted to, or not.
When you book a session with me, you can expect candid moments, and fun. Posed photography can create beautiful images, but I relish in the real. The littlest moments are the ones I intend to capture. A laugh, the way someone's eyes wrinkle when they smile; those are the moments I want you to keep forever. You can expect fast-paced movements through poses, as well as games and friendly competition. My goal is for your personality to shine through the images we create together, and for you to have fun while doing it.
